L’elisir d’amore

Hi, it’s nice to meet you.

I’m a creative who, over the last decade, branched out beyond the traditional ‘sing/dance/act’ formula. While I still do that, I now primarily work ‘on the other side of the table’ to direct and choreograph theatre and opera across the country. I started using my free time to write musicals, and that grew legs, too. I’m immersed in the world of creative and performing arts, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

I believe storytelling is at the heart of our human experience. At their best, stories impart a truth. They’re strong enough to connect people across social divisions, yet gentle enough to impart ideas and lessons without committing harm. When we perform a theatrical work, we have the opportunity to add our own voices—our own perspectives and societal context—to it. Theatre becomes an intergenerational and intercultural conversation. I believe the way we tell stories will be one of the greatest agents of change in our society's future.
